Behind The Brand
I’m Ejiro Amos Tafiri, but you can call me EAT. I started in 2010 with one mission: to prove that African design could be both timeless and unapologetically modern. My signature? Drapery. Not just fabric folded pretty, but sculpted silhouettes that move with you, and demand a second look.
Maybe you’ve heard of my Oleku drape dress? Yeah, that little number rewrote the rules on what Nigerian womenswear could be—bridging tradition with a fresh, youthful edge. And I haven’t stopped since. From Lagos runways to international spotlights, my pieces live on women who want their wardrobes to say: I’ve arrived, but I’ve always been here.
I don’t just design clothes, I mentor future designers at the EAT School of Design, because what’s style if we’re not passing the torch? Fashion is culture, power, and everyday joy.
Choose me if you want pieces that feel like art but wear like a second skin. Choose me if you’re ready for elegance.
