Behind The Brand

Eadem was founded by two former Google colleagues—Marie Kouadio Amouzame (Ivory Coast–born, France-raised) and Alice Lin Glover (Taiwanese-American)—who bonded over their shared struggles with hyperpigmentation and the industry's failure to serve melanin-rich skin. What began as a lifestyle blog in 2018 became a skincare brand rooted in community voice and clinical rigour.

Launched in 2020, Eadem’s flagship Milk Marvel Dark Spot Serum went through 25 formulation iterations to ensure it was potent yet gentle. Infused with niacinamide, encapsulated vitamin C, fruit enzymes, and amber algae, the serum visibly fades dark spots without lightening your natural tone. The brand’s mission? Bare-skin confidence for all skin tones, proven by clinical testing across Fitzpatrick types and a Sephora launch in 260+ stores.

Eadem doesn’t stop at skincare—it builds community. With an editorial platform sharing personal beauty stories and refusing tokenism, they’re defining "clean" as inclusive, transparent, and culturally relevant. Nestled in minimalist, pastel-toned packaging that pops on shelves, be sure to check them out.
