In 2016, jewellery-loving powerhouse Lisette Scott traded designs for Dior and Vogue to launch Jam + Rico—an ode to her Jamaican and Puerto Rican heritage. With just $500 in her pocket and a mission to bring Caribbean colour to the world, she began crafting statement pieces that channel reggae rhythms and tropical traditions—plantain earrings, cowrie shell bangles, palm‑tree charms—each item a wearable memory.

From Brooklyn pop‑ups and Instagram stories to headline features in Vogue, Forbes, Elle, and collabs with Target and Claire’s, Lisette’s vision blended bold design with deep cultural roots. Her brand resonates on the runway, in real life, and even graced the red carpet—worn by Ariana DeBose—making Jam + Rico as dynamic and resonant as the islands themselves.
