What began in a living room in 2013 has blossomed into The Curl Bar London, founded by curly-hair influencer Niá Petit (aka Nia The Light). Tired of generic salons that didn't cater to coily, curly, and wavy textures, she carved out a safe, celebratory space in Crouch End for textured hair—one where every strand tells a story.
Opening her salon in January 2020 was a dream come true, despite a temporary COVID closure, the vision endured. Today, The Curl Bar offers curl-specific cuts, washes, steam treatments, colour, styling, and hands-on education, all designed to empower clients to care for their curls with knowledge and pride.
From warm consultations with herbal teas and Polaroid selfies to gentle detangling and scalp massages, each visit is a ritual of self-love. Stylists at The Curl Bar bring years of curly expertise, helping clients walk out feeling confident, educated, and seen.
