Aminata Kamara, known professionally as Aminata Creative, is a London-based international hairstylist and textured-hair educator, celebrated for transforming runway hair. From childhood experiments with colored extensions to self-started hairstyling during university, her journey is deeply personal. When she resumed hairstyling three years ago, a single Instagram shoot turned her into a global voice for textured hair.

Since then, Aminata has crafted stunning hair at London, Milan, New York, and Paris Fashion Weeks, collaborating with top fashion houses like Dior, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Prada, and more. She's the mind behind the viral Dior Couture Fall/Winter 2024 braid that soared to over 3.4 million views.

Beyond styles, Aminata is on a mission: to create a backstage where Black models feel nurtured, respected, and beautifully represented. Off stage, she hosts textured-hair masterclasses, presents on BBC radio, and speaks passionately about empowering the next generation.

Her art is about more than braids; it’s about belonging, representation, and rewriting beauty standards.
