House of Tayo started in 2011, when Matthew Rugamba was still in college, sketching designs from market textures in Kigali and dreaming of classic tailoring with a Rwandan heart. The brand blends Motown cool and British style, infusing bold colour and heritage motifs into bow ties, suits, and accessories made locally.
