Hi there, I’m Fope, and this is By Adunni, a brand born from love, loss, and legacy.

I named my brand after my grandmother, Adunni, whose oriki means “one who is sweet to have.” Losing her hit me hard, but creating these handcrafted beaded clutches and accessories helped me reconnect with her spirit. These aren’t just bags, they’re emotional heirlooms, threaded with memory and care.

Each piece from the Tortoise Shell Marble Collection—Coffee, Cream, and Madagascar—is made using beads sourced directly from Lagos, where she walked, laughed, and lived. Every bead is a link to her, giving each piece a soul and a story.
